Representative Walz Releases Bald Eagle on Super Tuesday

MEDIA ALERT 

WHO: Representative Tim Walz and "Harriet," Minnesota's most famous Bald Eagle ambassador (featured on the "Support Our Troupes" license plate, campaigned in Washington DC for National Bald Eagle Recognition Day and special guest at Dept. of Interior's delisting of the Bald Eagle) 

WHAT: Representative Walz will release a rehabilitated Bald Eagle back into the wild, Harriet will supervise. 

WHEN: Tuesday, February 5th at 2pm 

WHERE: National Eagle Center, Eagle Observation Deck, Wabasha, MN (Hwy 61 S of the Twin Cities, Hwy 61 N of LaCrosse, Hwy 45 E of Rochester) 

Excellent opportunity for bi-partisan Super Tuesday footage. Print, television or radio coverage. Perfect entre and/or transition to political stories of the day and throughout Primary season. Easy distance from Twin Cities, Rochester, LaCrosse, Eau Claire.
