Meet the Adams’: Putting Their IRAs to Work for Eagles
When longtime members Bruce and Carolyn Adams started their required minimum distributions, they decided to directly distribute the extra income from their IRAs to the National Eagle Center.
The Adams’ live in North Dakota, and have supported the National Eagle Center since their first visit nearly a decade ago. For Bruce and Carolyn, their grandson Harrison is an important reason for their support. Carolyn says, “The National Eagle Center staff does an incredible job of personally connecting to every visitor. Harrison is always excited to come back and see the eagles and learn something new.”
Bruce and Carolyn joined the National Eagle Center in 2010. “We support the National Eagle Center because of the personal way they inspire people to care about nature using eagles,” said Bruce. “It’s a responsibly run organization with great leadership and an exciting future.”
Today Bruce and Carolyn support the National Eagle Center by contributing through their IRAs. For them, it makes economic sense and achieves their goal of leaving the world a better place.
