Project Description

Join the National Eagle Center as we celebrate our home – Earth! Learn how you can help protect the environment and the ways you can promote healthy bald eagle habitat in your own backyard!

E.A.G.L.E. and Classroom Programs

Visit the eagle ambassadors up-close in the mew during our daily E.A.G.L.E program or catch a classroom program during your visit! The classroom program will be at 1pm. Seating in the classroom is limited and filled on a first come, first serve basis. Please allow yourself plenty of time for arrival – we recommend planning to arrive at least 30 minutes beforehand.

Eagle Enrichment

Earth Day falls around the time when eggs in local eagle nests begin to hatch. It is also the day when we mark the eagle ambassadors getting one year older. Help our eagle ambassadors celebrate their “hatch day” as we provide them with special eagle enrichment throughout the day! The eagles will enjoy live minnows in their water basins at 11am and 3pm! Be sure to bring your camera!
