National Eagle Center Welcomes Active-Duty Military Families This Summer

Wabasha, MN – The National Eagle Center invites active-duty military families to visit our National Bird free of charge this summer. As a proud Blue Star Museum, the Center offers active-duty military service members and up to five family members complimentary admission from Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 17 through Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2025.

“Eagles have universal appeal and truly touch lives, especially of those who serve our nation in our armed forces,” said Ed Hahn, Director of Advancement and Marketing Communications at the National Eagle Center. “We know Bald Eagles hold a special importance to those men and women who serve our nation in the military. Just the same, their service and sacrifice is important to us, and we are honored to welcome them as part of this wonderful program.”

Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America that offer free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel including National Guard and Reserve and their families.

2025 marks the National Eagle Center’s ninth year participating in the Blue Star Museum program. Hundreds of Blue Star families have visited the Center since 2017.
