National Eagle Center Announces Updated Admission Pricing

Wabasha, MN – The National Eagle Center is announcing changes to its admission pricing ahead of the busy summer tourist season. Starting June 1, general admission for adults will increase to $14.

While general admission for adults is increasing and will now apply to guests ages 16 and up, free admission for children is expanding from ages three and under to include children ages four and under to cater to young families with small children. Admission pricing for seniors (65+) will increase to $12 and youth ages (5-15) will remain unchanged at $10.

“This is our first price adjustment in three years,” said Ed Hahn, Director of Advancement and Marketing Communications at the Center. “We analyzed industry trends and changing conditions and decided a slight adjustment was necessary. However, we wanted to keep the impact on guests as minimal as possible and even encourage families with young children to come and enjoy the Center.”

One exciting change is the return of complimentary admission for US veterans! Thanks to a generous partnership and grant from the Minnesota Veterans 4 Veterans Trust Fund, military veterans will be able to visit the Center and the Eagle Ambassadors free of charge.

“Providing complimentary admission to our military veterans is very important to the Center,” said Hahn. “The Bald Eagle is our National Bird and living national symbol and we know that the men and women who have served our nation have a special relationship with the eagles. We are very grateful to the Minnesota Veterans 4 Veterans Trust Fund for stepping up to make that possible once again.”

The Center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with eagle programs at 1:00 p.m. Sunday – Thursday as well as 11:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
