National Eagle Center Announces 2025 River Cruise Schedule
Wabasha, MN – National Eagle Center summer river cruises aboard Winona State University’s Cal Fremling floating classroom are back for an exciting 2025 season. The Center is pleased to announce a schedule of nine On the River Bald Eagle viewing cruises starting in May and running through October.
Cruising out of Winona, MN, these two-hour cruises are summer floating classroom experiences for guests, featuring expert naturalists, real-time interpretation of observed Bald Eagles and wildlife, and engaging audience Q&A.
Two cruises, July 25 and 26, will cruise out of Wabasha and board at the National Eagle Center.
“2025 is our sixth season offering cruises,” said Ed Hahn, Director of Advancement and Marketing Communications at the Center. “The Mississippi River is a wonderful resource, a haven for humans and Bald Eagles alike. We’re very fortunate to have such a great partnership with our friends at Winona State University to provide these unforgettable experiences.”
The Cal Fremling has an on-board restroom, indoor and open-air seating, and is wheelchair accessible. Cruise registration is $60 for National Eagle Center members and $75 for non-members. Seating is limited to 45 seats per cruise and is expected to fill quickly.
Registration is now open on the National Eagle Center website with the first cruise scheduled for Saturday, May 31 at 2 p.m.
“People should mark their calendars and act quickly if interested,” said Hahn. “There are plenty of opportunities to cruise with us this summer, but they do fill up.”
